Summary

The article is devoted to substantiating the possibilities of applying the acmeological approach in managing the educational process of a higher education institution in the training of future teachers.

The authors consider the main idea of acmeology to be the study of mechanisms that ensure a person’s achievement of the highest level of professional mastery and personal maturity. The acmeological approach is viewed as a methodological basis for organizing the educational process aimed at developing the creative potential of the individual, forming readiness for self-development and self-realization, and enhancing the professional competence of academic and teaching staff. The principles of acmeological management are identified, including the principles of development, individualization, reflexivity, and innovation.

The authors identify the following directions for implementing the acmeological approach in managing the educational process of a higher education institution: the formation of an acmeological educational environment and the enhancement of the professional competence of academic and teaching staff.

Attention is drawn to the fact that the acmeological approach contributes to the development of such qualities as responsibility, initiative, the ability to make managerial decisions, communicativeness, and the ability to cooperate. The acmeological approach is considered a methodological basis for organizing the educational process that promotes the maximum realization of an individual’s potential, the development of creative abilities, and the formation of readiness for continuous professional improvement.

The implementation of this approach in managing the educational process makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of educational activities and to contribute to the formation of a competitive specialist; therefore, it requires detailed research.

The potential of the acmeological approach for improving the effectiveness of managing the educational process in a higher education institution is emphasized, particularly in the context of training future teachers. The application of the acmeological approach contributes to orienting the management of the educational process toward achieving a high level of professional and personal development of students. In this case, managerial decisions are aimed not only at organizing educational activities but also at creating conditions for self-realization, creative development, and the formation of professional mastery of the future teacher.

Key words: educational process, management of the educational process, acmeological approach, higher education institution, teacher training.
