METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TEACHING THE COURSE “LEGAL DOCUMENT SCIENCE” IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE FIELD OF LAW

The author of this article describes the content and features of teaching the academic discipline “Legal Document Studies” in the context of professional training of future specialists in the field of law.
It is substantiated that the academic discipline “Legal Document Studies” plays an important role in the professional training of future lawyers, as it involves the formation of a system of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities in working with legal documentation, familiarization with theoretical and practical issues of documentation and rules for organizing office work in the field of jurisprudence at the present stage.
It is proven that the effectiveness of mastering the academic discipline “Legal Document Studies” depends primarily on the selection of educational material by the teacher, its systematic updating in accordance with the main trends in the development of the industry, the optimal combination of traditional and innovative methods, technologies and teaching aids by the teacher, careful planning and responsible implementation of independent work by higher education applicants, as well as their preparation for practical classes.
The feasibility of using project technology, the technology of “flipped learning” and the technology of developing critical thinking when teaching the academic discipline “Legal Document Studies” in the process of professional training of future specialists in the field of law is substantiated, as they will contribute to the manifestation of the creative potential of applicants, as well as the purposeful formation of practical skills in working with documentation. It is proven that the use of these pedagogical technologies in the professional training of future lawyers has a number of advantages, in particular: this will contribute to the transformation of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities into a system of professional competencies; applicants will be able to analyze and systematize on a scientific basis practical experience in the chosen professional field and form a system of practical skills; pedagogical technologies require the development of appropriate educational material, as well as objective methods of control and evaluation; it allows for freeing up time for individual and personal development of higher education students, and also contributes to the creation of a flexible structure of the educational process within the framework of professional training of future specialists in the field of law.
