The study involves an analysis of psychological and pedagogical sources, which deepens the understanding of the concept of tolerance as one of the key moral qualities of an individual. At the core of this concept lies a value-based attitude towards the interests, beliefs, habits, and behavior of others, demonstrating a commitment to achieving mutual understanding without resorting to any forms of violence.
Attention is drawn to the concept of partnership pedagogy, whose methodological foundation is rooted in humane education as a system of interaction built upon kind and respectful treatment of children. The psychological aspect of this educational model is based on the principles of subject-subject interaction, which incorporates dialogical communication, equitable partnership among educators, students, and parents, consideration of all participants’ interests in the educational process, and shared responsibility for achieving results. It has been determined that the primary goal of partnership pedagogy is to overcome mistrust and establish a new level of relationships between families and the educational environment.
The study examines the pedagogical conditions for fostering tolerance in future educators through the application of partnership pedagogy principles. In particular, it emphasizes the importance of employing effective methods and forms of education, including organizing extracurricular activities under the framework titled “Fostering a Tolerant Personality.” The necessity of coordinating educational approaches between instructors and students to develop moral qualities based on tolerant behavior is underscored.
The study’s findings demonstrate the possibility of creating a system to foster tolerance in future educators through the implementation of partnership pedagogy. This approach contributes to establishing harmonious interactions among participants in the educational process, advancing moral and social competencies among higher education students, and enhancing the overall level of education and cohesion within the educational environment.
Key words: pedagogical conditions, fostering tolerance, future educators, partnership pedagogy, extracurricular activities.
