In the article tre autor assesses the effectiveness of probation events in Ukraine and foreign countries in terms of their impact on social stability, economic feasibility and ensuring national security. The author analyzes how probation affects the resocialization of probation subjects, their social integration and behavioral adaptation, as well as the stability and safety of communities. The main attention is paid to an interdisciplinary approach to assessing the effectiveness of probation measures, which includes criminological, social, psychological, legal and economic aspects. It is studied that the criminological aspect reflects the preventive function of probation and reducing the risk of reoffending; social – promoting social adaptation, restoring social ties and forming law-abiding behavior; psychological – using cognitive-behavioral and motivational techniques to change pro-criminal attitudes; legal – compliance with legislative norms and control standards; economic – reducing the cost of keeping prisoners and increasing the economic activity of probation subjects. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience, the autor defines that comprehensive programs that combine control, social and psychological support effectively reduce the level of recidivism, promote the reintegration of individuals into the community and strengthen social cohesion. It was determined that the economic effect of probation is manifested in the rational use of state expenses and increasing the financial security of society through employment and professional training of probation subjects. The autor is concludec that the implementation of effective probation programs is a strategically important element of criminal law policy, which ensures social stability, economic feasibility and increased security of communities and the state as a whole. The results of the study can serve as a methodological basis for further improving the probation system in Ukraine and adapting international experience to increase the efficiency of its practical implementation.
