Summary

The research topic is relevant due to the necessity of timely addressing issues related to the improvement of physical training for officers of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine. These issues arise from various challenges, including changes in the conditions of the educational process due to military actions, the inability to conduct general and specialized physical training sessions on a systematic basis, the lack of clear target guidelines, qualification characteristics, and requirements for the professional and social qualities of penitentiary specialists, among others.

The purpose of the article – is to highlight innovative methods for improving general and specialized physical training for officers of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine.

The methodology of the study. The research methodology is based on the analysis of literary sources and the synthesis of pedagogical observation.

Results of the study and conclusions. The author analyzed the training programs for general and specialized physical training of officers in the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine, as well as the pedagogical conditions in which the educational process takes place.

Based on the research results, the author proposed effective ways to improve and ensure a high level of physical, tactical-specialized, and psychophysiological competencies, which are among the essential components of the overall professional competence of modern officers of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine.
