Summary

The article addresses current issues related to improving the process of executing criminal sentences through the implementation of differentiated influence programs for offenders. The necessity of a personalized approach to the resocialization of individuals serving sentences is driven by the diversity of their socio-psychological characteristics, levels of maladjustment, motivational factors, and readiness for change. The purpose of the study is to determine the role and significance of differentiated influence programs within the system of criminal punishment execution, as well as to identify the fundamental principles of their effective application in the practice of correctional institutions. The methodological foundation of the study includes general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, generalization, and a systems approach, along with specific methods like comparative legal and structural-functional analysis, which enabled a comprehensive examination of the research subject.

The study provides a theoretical generalization of the nature, classification, and implementation features of differentiated influence programs based on the type and level of social neglect among offenders. A general model for the implementation of such programs is outlined, incorporating stages of diagnostics, planning, execution, and evaluation of results. The research also emphasizes the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, which ensures the involvement of specialists from various fields in the development and application of individualized influence programs.

The practical significance of the study lies in identifying realistic ways to optimize educational work with different categories of offenders, taking into account their potential for positive change. The proposed theoretical provisions can be applied in the development of regulatory and methodological support for the activities of correctional institutions, as well as in the training of personnel within the penitentiary system. The conclusions drawn contribute to a deeper understanding of the resocialization potential of offenders through targeted, purposeful, and scientifically grounded influence, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the state’s penal policy.

Key words: differentiated educational influence program, correction, resocialization, reform, penitentiary system.
